This was the last official engagement for Joe Tesseyman Huntsman of the Essex & Suffolk parading the Foxhounds at their point-to-point at Higham, Suffolk today. Joe has been five seasons hunting these hounds – they love him. The Essex & Suffolk are the premier league pack in East Anglia (often referred to as mini Leicestershire). I wrote about Joe when he came to the Waveney Harriers, his first position as a Huntsman which he did for two seasons. Having come from the Cottesmore as whipper-in to Neil Coleman. He is migrating a little further north (getting closer to his roots – he belongs Yorkshire) 1st May he will become Huntsman to the Brocklesby in Lincolnshire with their Old English hounds and taking young Hartley Crouch who has whipped in to him this season at the Essex & Suffolk.
