William Goodall was the huntsman to the Duke of Rutland for 17 years and this piece of valuable writing describes his method and handling of the Belvoir Hounds, in a different time. He died in 1859.
Goodall’s Practice has been republished, due to the rarity of this exquisite “little book”, in it’s original form. Often quoted as a “must” for all professional Huntsman/Hunt Servants.
